【摘要】:Theapplicationofthispracticewillhelpensureconsistencyinproceduresusedforthesensoryevaluationofedibleoils.Thispracticeisdesignedforusebyoilprocessorsorresearchlaboratoriesforevaluationsbyatrained,experiencedsensorypanelunderthesupervisionofasensoryprofessionalorforusebyqualitycontrolandqualityassurancepersonnelforthesensoryevaluationofedibleoilsandfats.1.1Thispracticecoverstherecommendedproceduresforthesensoryevaluationofedibleoilsandfats.1.2Thispracticecoverstechniquesforevaluatingodorandflavorinfatsandoils,fordeterminingoverallodorandflavorintensity,andtheintensityofindividualodorsorflavors.1.3Thetechniquesusedinthispracticeareapplicabletooils(liquidatroomtemperature)andliquifiedfats(solidatroomtemperature).1.4ThevaluesinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionsaregiveninSection7.

【摘要】:1.1Thispractice,knownastheembrittlement-detectormethod,coverstheapparatusandprocedurefordeterminingtheembrittlingornonembrittlingcharacteristicsofthewaterinanoperatingboiler.TheinterpretationoftheresultsshallberestrictedtothelimitssetforthinSection.Note1Theembrittlementdetectorwasdesignedtoreproducecloselytheconditionsexistinginanactualboilerseam.Itisconsideredprobablethattheindividualconditionsofleakage,concentration,andstressintheboilerseamcanequalthoseinthedetector.Theessentialdifferencebetweenthedetectorandtheboileristhattheformerissoconstructedandoperatedthatthesethreemajorfactorsactsimultaneously,continuously,andunderthemostfavorablecircumstancestoproducecracking;whereas,intheboilerthethreefactorsarebroughttogetheronlyunderuniquecircumstances.Furthermore,inthedetectoranycrackingisproducedinasmalltestsurfacethatcanbeinspectedthoroughly,whilethesusceptibleareasinaboilerarelargeandcanbeinspectedonlywithdifficulty.Intheserespectstheembrittlementdetectorprovidesanacceleratedtestofthefourthconditionnecessaryforembrittlement,theembrittlingnatureoftheboilerwater.Note2Cracksinaspecimenafterbeingsubjectedtothistestindicatethattheboilerwatercancauseembrittlementcracking,butnotthattheboilerinquestionnecessarilyhascrackedorwillcrack.1.2Theeffectivenessoftreatmenttopreventcracking,aswellasanindicationofwhetheranunsafeconditionexists,areshownbythispractice.Suchtreatmentsareevaluatedintermsofmethodspecimenresistancetofailure.1.3Thepracticemaybeappliedtoembrittlementresistancetestingofsteelsotherthanboilerplate,providedthataduplicate,unexposedspecimendoesnotcrackwhenbent90ona2-in.(51-mm)radius.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
